Medical Advisor Program | File Review | Independent Medical Evaluation (IME)   Services     We have been  providing medical consulting services to insurance companies and law firms since 1991, we have come to believe that, in many instances, the IME should be utilized as a last resort. As a result, we have designed several programs that are based upon a file review. These programs have actually helped clients cut down on the number of IME requests while providing a more prompt and cost-effective mechanism for evaluating claims from a medical perspective. Although the standard practice has always been to order an IME when there are questions about a claim, many times an examination of the claimant is not actually necessary.   Automated claims investigation packages     Unlike most traditional independent medical examination companies, we have developed our own proprietary medical claims investigation process to ensure that each client benefits from the most thorough investigation resulting in an accurate and substantiated medical report.  To accomplish this, we have designed and implemented a database that automatically creates a custom action list for each case. Each custom contract is based on a number of variables, including:    Customer: Taking into account its corporate structure, policies, and requirements  Type of claim: Worker’s Comp, auto insurance, etc.  State of Loss: Specific to the state, county, or municipal laws applicable to the  case  Service: The type of service ordered by the client – record review, exam, etc.   In addition, our automated package generates all the necessary paperwork, including a custom set of letters for the insurance carrier, attorneys, claimant, and medical professionals. It even helps formulate the right questions for the physician that are appropriate based upon the customer, the type of claim, the state of loss, and the specific service we are providing, all of which serve to eliminate guesswork, wrong information, and haphazard opinions. The result is a comprehensive, in-depth, professional medical report that will provide credibility and the kind of real knowledge necessary to help bring a claim to conclusion, whether the case goes to court or gets settled out of court.  Our methodology includes three levels of service:      Medical Advisor Program, File Review, and Independent Medical Evaluation(IME)
